Xenical is a medicine prescribed for weight loss treatment. It belongs to the group of lipase inhibitors. It works directly in the stomach and doesn't influence the hormonal balance in the brain. The patients with the following conditions can't use Xenical: pregnancy and breastfeeding, malabsorption, kidney problems,reduced gallbladder function (e.g. after cholecystectomy).

Common side effects may include: allergic reaction, oily spotting in your undergarments; orange or brown colored oil in your stool; oily or fatty stools; loose stools, or an urgent need to go to the bathroom, inability to control bowel movements; gas with discharge, an oily discharge; stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rectal pain; an increased number of bowel movements; loss of appetite, weakness, clay-colored stools, dark urine, itching, or jaundice, problems with your teeth or gums; cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, cough; headache, back pain; fever, chills, sore throat, flu symptoms; mild skin rash. Xenical interacts with the following medicines: Cyclosporine and Warfarin.

Store the medicine at room temperature between 20-25 C (68-77 F).
